How Does the N-Compass Node Work?
An N-Compass Node is installed in your location. A member enters into the ‘range’, the Node senses the smart-phone, records the traffic and analytical data. If the user has an N-Compass Node enabled app, the member will receive a push notification with an appropriate offer. The Node does not know who the person is, it simply records the MAC address.
What is a MAC Address?
MAC stands for Machine Access Control. Every device that connects to the internet has one. It is unique to each device and all smart phones have one. It is sort of like an electronic serial number. Cell phone carriers have a record of each phone’s MAC address.
